Wrapping Up 2015 and Holiday Wishes

As we enter the last weeks of 2015, we wanted to take this opportunity to share with you a few highlights from the great year both we as a company, and the industry at large, have had. And we also wanted to sincerely wish all of you a relaxing, happy holiday season. We hope your year was as wonderful as ours was, and let’s all start 2016 on a positive note, as we’re sure we can make it the best year so far.

Imperial Wire & Cable Receives the ISO 9001:2008 Certificate from QAS International

The ISO 9001:2008 is a certification that proves that we as a company comply with internationally recognized high standards for staff motivation, customer satisfaction and continued improvement. It’s given based on regular surveillance audits, where a team of experienced auditors review aspects of the company that include all the fundamental business controls.

Now, we always look to improve every aspect of our company, and we feel that one of the major recognitions that reflected this commitment to continuous improvement in 2015, was having our ISO 9001:2008 certification renewed after passing the rigorous annual audit. It’s an acknowledgement of the hard work of everyone at our company, and we want to say how grateful we are to both our dedicated employees and our loyal customers.

Wire and Cable Demand in the US Expected to rise by 5.6% Annually Through 2019

The publisher of Insulated Wire & Cable predicts a consistent rise in construction expenditures for the next four years, with the demand for insulated wire and cable products in the United States surpassing 27 billion dollars during 2019. That means 5.6% annual increases all the way through 2019, which is a big gain as industries recover from the depressed levels of 2009.

Insulated wire and cable products, in particular, should see the largest growth in demand due to the increased need for wire and cable for power transmission and distribution, as well as in the telecom market. On top of that, there are expectations for increased capacity in the transmission grid and upgrades in infrastructure that should increase demand for power and communications cable for years to come. This is, of course, great news, as we want to see both our own company, as well as our industry at large, thrive.

As you can see, we have good reasons to look forward to 2016 with excitement. And, once more, we hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year.
